Zagato Perana Z-One previewed before Geneva debut
A few renderings popped up on Zagato’s website this morning as a preview of the exclusive supercar that will be shown at the Geneva Motor Show next week. The car is the fruit of a partnership between the Italian design firm and Perana Performance Group of South Africa.
Details are a bit sparse, but we know the concept will be powered by a 6.2-liter V-8 from GM. Output is likely to be 440 horsepower, or more, and the car is expected to zip to 62 mph in about 4 seconds.
Perna will produce the frame and the car is rumored to weight about 1195 kg. Around 1000 units a year will be produced and the cost is expected to start at € 50,000 (about $64,000.) Full details will be available when the car debuts on March 2nd.
