The tease continues as Infiniti reveals its upcoming JX luxury crossover one photo at a time. The sixth of seven teaser photos has surfaced on Infiniti’s Facebook page, revealing more of the vehicle’s headlights and grille. This angle confirms the QX56 styling influence we noticed in the first shot of the JX’s front end.
Infiniti has released one image of the JX each Thursday, a strategy designed to keep fans hooked until the crossover debuts at the 2011 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance next week. With the release of this penultimate image, we’ve practically seen the whole exterior of the car — just in separate images from different angles. All that really remains a mystery is the JX’s drivetrain and interior, about which Infiniti has remained pretty tight-lipped thus far.
Infiniti hopes the three-row, seven-passenger JX will fill a niche for suburban families that currently don’t have many options in the multi-passenger luxury crossover segment. So far the JX seems to resonate well with fans on Infiniti’s Facebook page, as the comments on the teaser images have been mostly positive.
After seeing multiple teaser shots, we’re ready to get this unveiling on the road already. Only one week — and one teaser image — remains before the JX makes its official debut at Pebble Beach on August 18.
