Looking something like a Forte on steroids, the third-generation Kia Optima sedan will make its world debut at the 2010 New York auto show.
Although the sedan, previewed here with new sketches, will be unveiled on April 2, it won’t reach dealers in North America until the fall. In Europe, however, customers will be able to buy the car (sold as the Magentis) this spring.
The sketches show a sleek four-door with a very low roofline. It’s attractive, but as is the case with all renderings, the actual concept model could vary dramatically. Unsurprisingly, the brand’s new nose makes takes its place on the Optima’s front. A longer wheelbase, Kia points out, provides more passenger and cargo space.
