Touring Superleggera Crafting Shooting Brake Wagon from Bentley Continental GT

Always wanted a Bentley station wagon? Touring Superleggera may be able to make your dream come true. The Milan-based design firm will launch a shooting brake version of the Continental GT at the 2010 Geneva motor show, and will reportedly build as many as 20 examples.

It’s rumored to be called the Flying Star, an evocative name that dates back to special Touring-bodied Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini models. As is typical of Touring, much of the special Bentley’s three-door body work will be rendered in lightweight aluminum, though some steel will be retained. The car is said to have a new interior with two rear seats that, when folded flat, will provide more than 5 feet of perfectly flat cargo space. The rear tailgate will be crafted from aluminum and will operate electrically.

We’re looking forward to bringing you more on Touring’s special Bentley shooting brake live from Geneva next month, so be sure to stay tuned for more coverage.
