How do you name a color for the 2011 Chevrolet Volt? Simple: Let the public vote on the matter.
General Motors launched a contest a few weeks back to help find a name for the greenish hue seen in most Volt press photos. Nearly 13,000 entries were submitted to www.chevroletvoltage.com, but only three names remain: Viridian Joule, environMINT, and EV-ergreen.
Although I’m a little disappointed that “Kermit the Fog” didn’t make the cut, you can vote on your favorite of the three finalists. The winning name will be announced on December 1, and its creator will get the chance to drive a pre-production Volt.
How about Bolshevik Red?
