If you just can’t wait to see Lamborghini’s new concept car for the 2010 Paris Motor Show, we’ve good news — the unveiling will reportedly occur later this afternoon. Until then, here’s the sixth — and final — teaser image issued by the Italian automaker.
This teaser appears to showcase the car’s exterior, and like the other five photos, it highlights quite a bit of exposed carbon fiber. Given the shape of this component, we’d guess it’s either an exhaust outlet, although until we see the car in its entirety, it’s anyone’s guess.
The car itself is also a bit of a mystery. Recent reports suggest the vehicle is a visual manifestation of Lamborghini’s new corporate manifesto, which vows to pursue weight savings and reduce CO2 emissions instead of top-end speed. The company has recently invested heavily in a number of carbon fiber research and production facilities, and the composite material has been noted in several of the company’s six teaser releases.
Six teasers, eh? We can’t help but notice that carbon happens to be the sixth element on the Periodic Table of the Elements — either this is serendipity, or Lamborghini’s playing a clever PR game. We’d bet on the latter, but expect full details on the car to emerge shortly. Stay with Automobile Magazine for all the latest news surrounding the new Lamborghini.
