Subaru’s refreshed and improved lineup of Impreza WRX and WRX STI models has been priced for the 2011 model year.
A 2011 WRX STI sedan — the new bodystyle this year — lowers the non-special edition STI price to $34,720 (including $725* destination fee). That price is roughly $1000 less than the 2010 STI hatchback.
The entry-level WRX sedan sees a $500 price bump, to $26,220 with destination. Hatchback WRXs don’t see a price increase (well, besides the extra $30 it costs for 2011 destination charges).
Consider what that $500 increase gets you on the 2011 WRX: wide front fenders, new rear bumpers, gunmetal gray alloy wheels with wider summer tires, six upgraded speakers, and plenty more.
For an extra $2500, Subaru will sell you a WRX Premium, with a power moonroof and foglights and a trunk spoiler on the four-door model. HIDs, leather seats, and a navigation system with a seven-inch touchscreen are all available for those who want a luxurious WRX.
On the STI, the Limited trim level makes an appearance. With leather, 18-inch BBS alloy wheels, a power moonroof, and fog lights, a WRX STI Limited sedan retails for $38,070.
Last month, Subaru released pricing information on regular-strength 2011 Imprezas, revealing that prices were kept in check though there were a few trim changes.
