Chevrolet teased the 2014 Corvette this week, and now we’ve got new spy shots of a C7 convertible spotted on public roads.
The 2014 Chevrolet Corvette convertible still sports what appears to be a soft top, not surprisingly, and has twin five-spoke wheels. Otherwise, the 2014 Corvette convertible prototype maintains the same proportions of the Corvette coupe prototypes we’ve spied, with four taillights and door-mounted side mirrors.
We expect the new Corvette to use a new small-block V-8 – with newer engine technology and lighter-weight parts, the latest Corvette may be the quickest and most efficient model yet. Of course, the new Corvette’s real focus may be a more refined driving experience. You’ve already seen 2014 Corvette prototypes inside and out, and now we can see Chevrolet has brought along for comparison a new Porsche 911.
Will the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette be as good as a Porsche 911, or even the new 2013 SRT Viper? We’ll find out before long — for now, enjoy these 2014 Corvette spy photos.
