Mercedes-Benz, it seems, is preparing a Black Series version of its C63 sedan. These spy shots from our colleagues at Motor Trend show a C63 AMG Black Series sedan testing at — where else? — the Nürburgring.
The C63 Black Series coupe was announced earlier this year, so it’s no big leap to imagine Mercedes will expand the car’s appeal by offering a four-door version. As in the coupe, expect a 6.3-liter V-8 with 510 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque under the hood. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission will send power to the rear wheels. Mercedes says the Black Series coupe can hit 60 mph from rest in just 4.2 seconds, and we doubt the sedan will be significantly slower.
In addition to the power, the C63 Black Series sedan should score the same upgraded suspension and larger brakes with which its coupe forbear has been endowed.
