What’s wrong with a BMW M5 that two fewer cylinders can’t cure? Can we interest you in some turbos?
As we reported yesterday, BMW is abandoning the V-10 of the E60 M5 for the new twin-turbo V-8 currently in the X5 and X6 M. The new engine will reportedly produce close to 600 horsepower, more than the 555 in the SUV/SAV duo.
But is forced induction the right way to go for the M division? Will the new V-8 help to undo the last-generation, E60 5 Series?
