Teaser images aside, we’re not entirely sure what the rest of this M3 looks like, or if this Bimmer has any performance-enhancing components up its sleeve. All we know is that it has one slick interior, beefy wheels, and the same M-stitched leather that we’ve come to know and love in BMW products.

Now it’s your turn:

What features would your special-edition M3 have?

Carbon-fiber roof? Carbon-fiber everything? Sound off below.

Bring back the CSL model and I'll take it. I want it as hardcore as they can make it.

I could use a sleeper sedan. No frills, no badges, no attention-getting devices other than the cool rumble of the exhaust and a dark blue paint job!

S4AWD: these were images provided to us by BMW about a new special-edition M3 that will be disclosed come Weds/Thurs. They've already acknowledged the Competition Package, AFAIK.If I could have any sway over the product planners, I'd kill for as hardcore of an M3 sedan as they could possibly build. I dig the coupe's carbon-fiber roof, but I have a need for four doors. Please, BMW, build me an M3 sedan that doesn't make me explain to my friends why I bought the sedan over a coupe -- or at least give me new reasons other than "practicality," "family," etc.

Isn't that an M3 with the Competition package which is already an option to build on BMW's website?
