The latest Rolls-Royce Wraith teaser has arrived, and a few things are clear: the new luxury coupe will definitely have taillights and exhaust outlets. Beyond that, Rolls-Royce says the next addition to its family will incorporate style, power, and drama; the Wraith debuts at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
Rolls-Royce describes the Wraith’s power as “more than ample,” but we can be a bit more specific. Expect the Wraith to be powered by a up-rated version of the Ghost’s twin-turbo 6.6-liter V-12 that’s good for 563 hp and 575 lb-ft of torque. The official 0-60 mph time for a Ghost is 4.7 seconds — with the V-12 engine producing closer to 600 hp, the Wraith may cut a couple tenths of a second off that time.
With the Rolls-Royce Wraith likely to be priced in the high $200,000 range, it may strike a balance between those who don’t want a Bentley Continental GT and prefer not to spend well upwards of $400,000 on a Rolls-Royce Phantom Coupe. We’ll have more information on the new Rolls-Royce coupe as we approach its Geneva Motor Show debut in early March.
