As things start to wind down in Geneva, all eyes start to shift toward the New York Auto Show in April, where the refreshed 2013 Toyota Venza will take a bow and show off its new facework and new standard goodies.
Left mostly untouched for the 2012 model year, the 2013 Toyota Venza will wear a slightly fresher face, thanks to a new upper and lower grille, and fog lamps. New 19-inch wheels will have a different design, and the Venza also gets new rear taillights. New standard features vary depending on the model chosen, with the entry-level LE coming equipped with blind spot monitoring and outer mirror turn signals for the 2013 model year. The XLE model further adds a driver memory seat, reverse-tilt outer mirrors, and navigation with Toyota Entune, while the top-trim Limited model will sport LED daytime running lights. Other standard features for the Limited model include a premium navigation system, Entune, and a JBL audio system.
Mechanically, the 2013 Venza will remain the same, with I-4, V-6, front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive powertrain combinations for LE and XLE models, while the Limited will house a V-6 under the hood in either front-wheel or all-wheel drive configurations. Also, Attitude Black, Cypress Pearl, and Cosmic Gray Mica are three new exterior paint colors added to the color palette.
