Race Ramps unveils new Portable Pit Stop

Portable Pit Stop Race Ramps

Finally, a new product e-mail worth reading. I don’t know exactly how it happens, but every PR company on the planet seems to have my e-mail address and my inbox is inundated with obscure product press releases, which frequently have dubious connections to the automotive world. Today I learned about a new product worth a second look.

The Portable Pit Stop ramp from Brute Industries looks like the kind of product that actually appeals to guys and girls who own cars that go fast, especially track cars. Rich Heinz first developed race ramps to allow a friend of his to put a 2003 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in the air. Now Heinz has a full line of different ramps for all sorts of uses.

The ramps are wide enough to handle modern performance tires and the approach angle of the ramp is a mere 10 degrees. The portable pit stop makes it easy to access the underbody of a vehicle to perform service. There’s an option to have cut-outs in the ramps to allow for scales to get the weight of each corner of the car.
