Porsche Panamera Takes Elevator to 94th Floor at Shanghai Show
What’s the best way to generate buzz about a 400-horsepower super-sedan? Stick it upright in an elevator on its way up to the 94th floor of the world’s third tallest building, and snap some pictures. What else?
A 2010 Porsche Panamera S was attached to a palette, and then shoved into an elevator to make the 425-meter (1,394-foot) journey up to the 94th floor of the Shanghai World Financial Center, where a special preview event occurred before the car’s official debut at the 2009 Shanghai auto show.
We wonder which was easier: taking a Porsche Panamera up 94 stories, or taking it down.
