Due to an unexpected delay at ports of entry, some Porsche Panamera buyers may receive a free set of luggage. The offer is extended to the first 200 buyers of the U.S.-bound Panamera.
Porsche has experienced quite a delay at the port for its first batch of U.S.-bound Panameras. AutoWeek is reporting that the Panameras were manufactured with key and software problems, holding them up from dealer delivery. The issue has since been resolved and the vehicles are headed to the customers. The cars are leaving the ports and will arrive at dealerships no later than November 30. The problem will now be addressed at the factory in Leipzig, Germany.
The luggage set, valued at $3580, is icing on the cake for a new Porsche delivery. The luggage is a goodwill offering toward customers, thanking them for their patience, said a Porsche representative.
