Lest you felt two hybrid Peugeot show cars at the 2008 Paris motor show weren’t enough, here’s a third: the Peugeot Prologue concept.
Unlike the company’s other hybrid concept for the 2008 show, the RC, the Prologue is rooted in reality.; The compact crossover is built from the existing 308 hatchback, and is virtually a dead ringer for an upcoming competitor to the Nissan Qashai.
Although the Prologue’s hybrid system is very similar to that of the RC concept, with a 200 hp rating, it’s nearly 113 ponies short of the slinky sports sedan.
Look for a production form of the Prologue to arrive at the 2009 Geneva motor show in early March.
