If you want more photos of the Mini Coupe Concept, you’ve got ‘em. The automaker, which plans on unveiling the concept at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show in September, released additional photography of the two-seat sports coupe this morning.

The new shots show the Coupe Concept near its natural habitat — an open road — and lend a little more emotion to the rakish show car than the original batch of studio photos. We’ve also received our first look at the interior. For the large part, it’s standard Cooper fare, but it’s adorned with carbon fiber trim and some supple saddle-colored leather.

<P class=MsoNormal target=”_blank”>We doubt some of those touches will necessarily reach production (although luxo-Minis aren’t exactly out of the question), but it’s a fairly safe bet we’ll see the Coupe (or a roadster variant) join the Mini portfolio in the near future. For more information, check out our initial piece on the Coupe Concept, and stay with Automobile Magazine for all the latest happenings surrounding the Frankfurt motor show.

Kinda cool; too bad it’s still made by BMW thus making it unaffordable to the masses (wasn’t that the point of the Mini in the first place?).
