Logically, an M Sport package for the 2011 BMW 5 Series is a natural fit. Aesthetically, it works just as well, if the surrounding images provided by German BMW enthusiast website Bimmertoday prove any indication. The website is touting these scans of what looks to be a catalog advertising the European version of the kit as the real deal.
Per the scanned images, and our translating, the M Sport kit consists of new bodywork, interior amenities, revised suspension, and different rolling stock. The fascia is much more aggressive than that of the standard car, and the rear bumper benefits from a black diffuser that surrounds twin, dark exhaust tips. Buyers can opt between 18- or 19-inch wheels, while the interior receives sport seats and an upgraded steering wheel. Pay attention: Some of these design elements may hint at what the M5 might look like when it goes on sale.
As for whether the package will make it stateside, or if it’s real, we’re awaiting confirmation.
