Along with a modified Veloster and 450-hp Genesis, Hyundai will have some sort of performance vehicle on display at the upcoming Specialty Equipment Market Association show in Las Vegas. A new teaser video from Hyundai reveals that the company is working with Rhys Millen Racing to bring a new show car to SEMA.
The video doesn’t reveal much about the new project, other than showing craftsmen welding, cutting, painting, and sanding parts of the new vehicle. The one giveaway is a quick glance at taillights that appear to come from a Genesis Coupe, which could mean RMR and Hyundai are working on a performance version of that car.
“What is it about performance that gets people so excited?” asks the voiceover. “We’re about to show you.”
We of course have high hopes for the RMR-Hyundai car — the two companies have collaborated before on everything from rally cars to a mid-engine Genesis Coupe show car. Until the car is officially revealed, check out the teaser video below.
