Gm Heritage Collection 1

The belt at GM is tightening a little more each day. Since the automaker is having trouble selling its new cars, it will try its hand as selling some of the old ones from its private Heritage Collection.

GM will auction approximately 250 cars from its coffers at the upcoming Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona. While most are concepts and one-off models from the last couple decades, some models up for grabs do date from the turn of the century.

From what we’ve seen, some of the highlights include the 1989 Chevrolet Corvette ZR-1 Snake Skinner, (with its 475 net horsepower and Kevlar hood), the four-seat 1984 Pontiac Fiero GT 2+2, and the one-off 1994 Impala SS with a six-speed manual transmission.

The list is not officially from GM, and there may be more cars added to B-J’s catalog by the time the auction starts on January 13th.
