General Motors is offering big incentives to dealerships if they can sell remaining Pontiac and Saturn units by the end of the year. GM is offering a whopping $7000 for each new Pontiac or Saturn a dealer is able to sell. The cars must be sold to rental or service vehicle fleets for the incentive to be valid.
With the offer running through January 4th, dealers still have a few days to boost their December sales figures, and more importantly, sales for 2009. The discount would also allow the dealers to give better pricing on the cars, making them easier to move.
