GM released its new luxury expense plan today, allowing senior executives to fly business class
Having liquidated its seven corporate jets during bankruptcy, GM executives still need transportation, right? The new policy allows all senior executives to fly business class on all flights. Not quite a private jet, but better than sitting in the last row with a baby screaming in your ear. All other employees must fly economy class for flights lasting less than eight hours.
Private charters are permitted “only in North America and only when a clear business rationale is stated.” The governing board will “periodically monitor the use of charter aircraft.”
