As we inch closer to the dawn of the 2010 Paris Motor Show, Lamborghini continues to push out shadowy images of its forthcoming concept car — a good thing, as it’s promised no fewer than six images before the big reveal.
Although the first three images showed portions of the exterior, engine cover, and dashboard, we’re a little puzzled by the photo above. Are we looking at the carbon-fiber laden intake runner for a V-10 or V-12, or is this some mysterious bit of interior trim? We’re inclined to think this is the former, although we’ll know for sure by Thursday, at the very latest.
We don’t, however, think this car will be a thinly veiled look at the Murciélago’s successor, commonly referred to as Jota. Instead, expect this concept to showcase Lamborghini’s newfound fetish for carbon fiber, along with an illustration of how the company’s new mantra can translate into a rolling vehicle.
