To celebrate the launch of the 2012 Ford Mustang Boss 302, Ford Images — Ford’s official site — is offering Boss buyers the chance to get an exclusive, customized print that matches their car. Non-owners can buy similar prints at a big discount.
The customized prints, which are available only to buyers of the car, feature the same color Boss 302 as the customer’s car, along with a metal plate displaying the owner’s name, the car’s VIN, and the car’s build number. Each photo is framed and hand-signed by racing legend Parnelli Jones, who was victorious in the 1970 Trans-Am championship at the wheel of an original Mustang Boss 302. Photos of the standard Boss cost $499, and shots of the Laguna Seca edition are $599.
In addition, everyone who uses the website can score a 30.2-percent (see what they did there?) discount on photos, posters, and artwork from Ford Images through April 22. Just use the promotional code “302” when ordering.
The discount might be small consolation to anyone who hasn’t had the opportunity to drive the 444-horsepower Boss, which we heralded as one of the best Mustangs ever. They can, fortunately, enjoy the rumbling exhaust of the Boss 302 with and without its exhaust silencers thanks to these videos.
