Speak Italian? Neither do we. Can you read? Perfect – because Ferrari has just released a subtitled video show just how the Ferrari 458 Italia’s magnificent 4.5-liter V-8 is born.
The video starts with the Ferrari 458 Italia’s 4.5-liter V-8 being gifted with bearings and crankshafts, and ends with the engine on a test bench, verifying that the engine operates within all of its specified parameters. Along the way, Ferrari meccanicas are interviewed during various stages of the engine’s build. It’s quite interesting to see the the process that builds one of our favorite eight-cylinder engines of all times.
