Porsche claims its new supercar can hit 60 mph in less than 3 seconds and has a top speed above 200 mph.

The 918 Spyder is also a test bed for next-generation Porsche technologies including powertrain bits as well as the steering wheel and seats. Later versions of these technologies are likely to make their way into more mainstream models like future 911s and Caymans.
