Ken Block lives a life many of us would love to have. Aside from having the honor of competing in the WRC, Block also gets to shoot his signature Gymkhana videos. To gives us a glimpse of what it’s like living in his shoes, Block let some cameras follow him around to see what it’s like to live a day in his life.
This video starts with Block leaving his Los Angeles hotel in his Sync-equipped H.F.H.V. Ford Fiesta (otherwise known as his Gymkhana Four car) to drive to a Cars and Coffee meet in Orange County. Block then drives his Fiesta to grab some grub with a buddy before heading out to a Universal Studios set to shoot some scenes for Gymkhana Four.
Finally, Block drives out to Willow Springs Raceway to practice for the Gymkhana World Tour. For the next two minutes, we’re assaulted with shots of Block tearing up the raceway, drifting around a cone, and then knocking a ladder out from underneath a friend with his car. Y’know, the sort of stuff Internet legends are made of. Block closes the day out by hopping into his Euro-spec Ford Focus RS and heading for the hotel. Lucky guy.
