Some test mules are crushed when their mission is fulfilled, and full-size clay models aren’t treated much better if this Feature Flick is any indication. Jaguar shows what three men with axes can do to this XF clay model when given the chance to destroy it.
The video is time-lapsed to show the team’s progress as they hack away at the clay and foam beneath until it all slides off the rolling chassis. Fortunately none of the axes slip during the process. When finished, the crew cleans up the debris before shutting the lights off.
The Jaguar XF serves as the automaker’s volume model until the new compact Jag sedan arrives in three to four years. While we’re not quite sure what to make of the video, one thing’s certain: it caught our attention.
