In a new official video, Jaguar unleashes an F-Type prototype on a track during testing. The roadster is Jaguar’s first two-seat sports car in more than50 years.
Ex-Formula 1 Driver Martin Brundle drops by Jaguar’s test track to watch the F-Type “enter the most exciting [development] phase.” While Brundle wants Mike Cross, Jaguar’s chief engineer, to learn as much as he can about the F-Type, Cross keeps his lips sealed. Instead, Cross gives Brundle an offer he can’t refuse—a ride around the track. Cross discusses the F-Type’s aluminum chassis construction, which he says gives it a very light and stiff platform.
