Ferrari will join in the festivities of the Diamond Jubilee Pageant to celebrate the 60-year reign of Queen Elizabeth II over the United Kingdom. In this Feature Flick, The Carousel of the Carabiniere from Italy and a pair of Ferrari FFs practice for the upcoming pageant to be held at Windsor Castle May 10 through 13.
Why is an Italian sports car maker celebrating Queen Elizabeth II’s major milestone? We don’t know either, but it seems that the 2013 Chevrolet Corvette would be a better match, not only because it shares a 60-year reign as America’s premier sports car, but because America was once an English colony.
The Diamond Jubilee Pageant will host seven acts from around the globe “reflecting The Queen’s State and Commonwealth visits during the course of Her Reign,” according to the pageant’s official website.
