A pair of less-than-professional sportscasters hosts a series of new ads, which pit the new Ford C-Max hybrid against the Toyota Prius to see which green car is better in real-world use. The four videos focus on passing power, fuel mileage, convenience options, and technology features.
First, the Toyota Prius Liftback and Ford C-Max square off to see which one can pass a semi on a two-lane road quicker. With the sportscasters touting the C-Max’s 40 percent more horsepower and 20 percent more lb-ft of torque over the Prius, the odds are stacked in the Ford’s favor. Next, the C-Max and Prius V spend the day doing errands, as the commentators fight off boredom waiting for the first hybrid to stop for fuel.
The last two videos focus on the C-Max’s available foot-activated liftgate and the voice-activated Sync system – options not available from Toyota, as the videos point out.
Does the Ford C-Max have what it takes to challenge the class stalwart Toyota Prius? Check out the videos below to find out.

I might be mistaken but I have never, ever read any article on drag racing hybrids. Maybe Ford has their own publications that run these articles but they are probably have low subscription counts.
