Feature Flick: How Many Princes Does It Take to Put Up Veyron Grand Sport’s Roof?

How many men does it take to put on the roof of a Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport?  That’s not a question many of us have to ask on a daily basis. While we’ve seen the Veyron up close and personal before, we’ve never had to live with it day in and day out. After viewing this video of three men hammering away at this Veyron Grand Sport’s umbrella roof, we’re not sure we’d want to.

This video, shot by a YouTuber who spends much of his time cruising the streets of London looking for supercars to film (which surprisingly doesn’t seem too hard), features a pearlescent white Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport with what looks to be United Arab Emirates plates parked in front of a horrendous-looking black and orange BMW X5 M. From the looks of it it doesn’t look like it’s raining in the video, but this being London, that possibility can’t be too far off.

The almost two minute-long video starts with the two young Middle Eastern men struggling to get the Veyron Grand Sport’s emergency canvas roof open. It takes two of them to get the umbrella-style roof to remain open. Once Larry and Moe get the roof open the two spend a good amount of time trying to get the canvas roof in place on the supercar while a growing crowd gathers to watch. Then Curly comes in to help. While Larry sits inside the Veyron trying to get the roof in place from the inside, Moe and Curly get to work outside, hammering away with their fists trying to get the port-a-roof in place. As the video comes to a close, it looks like the Three Stooges have finally gotten the roof in place.

Want to know what the best part is though? It wasn’t. According to the poster, the Three Stooges ended up taking the roof off right after the camera was off. Check out the video below, and let’s hope that Bugatti starts to offer a training in roof operation.
