Feature Flick: 1200-HP Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse Sees the World from Above

The 1200-hp Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse – claimed to be the world’s fastest roadster – is a tremendous car. Check out the drop-top flier travel to tremendous heights in the video below.

Before the 1200-hp beast from Bugatti lets loose on the mountain roads, the video shows the roadster’s best assets in slow motion for our viewing pleasure. You’ll notice the car carries many of the design and driving characteristics of the Veyron Super Sport, including the SS’ sleeker front end and revised suspension tuning.

Once unleashed on the open road, the drop-top produces 1200 hp and 1106 lb-ft from its 8.0-liter W-16 engine, which has four turbochargers. With a claimed top speed of 255 mph, we doubt the Vitesse took very long to get to the top of the mountain. To reiterate, this video is for viewing pleasure only—the only soundtrack we hear, unfortunately, is dramatic music.

Check out the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport Vitesse’s driving finesse in the video below.
