Taking a page from a very successful playbook, Chrysler has announced today a new 60-day return policy that allows customers to return their new vehicle if they’re not satisfied with it.
Under its new “pledge” program, Chrysler will allow a customer to return a new vehicle up to 60 days after purchase if they’re not satisfied. To sweeten the deal, the company will also make your first two payments, or at least $500 worth per month for a total of $1000, with you picking up any difference.
“We build great vehicles for just about any lifestyle and with this pledge, consumers will have the confidence to know they made the right purchase or they can return the vehicle no questions asked,” said Fred Diaz, President and CEO of the Ram brand and Chrysler’s Lead Executive for U.S. Sales. “Plus, Chrysler Group will make the first two payments for the consumer.”
That’s just the start of it, though. Chrysler is also sponsoring a National Tent Event for the first time to draw people into more than 2,000 of its dealers nationwide. Drawing people in will be incentives including zero-percent financing for up to 60 months when financing through GMAC (now Ally), the aforementioned return policy and up to $3000 in “Consumer Cash,” though it appears you’ll have to choose between those three options, not stack them up. Other financing, lease and cash-back incentives are also available on select brands and models, most of which are only good until August 2.
