We already love the all-new Chrysler 300, and the Pentastar is slated to give us even more to love; more muscle that is. Our friends over at Motor Trend have gotten some new snaps of the upcoming 2012 Chrysler 300 SRT8.
The latest spy shots reveal more about the details of the next-gen SRT8. It looks like the high-powered 300 wearing an aggressive set of air intakes, a mesh grille, oversized tailpipes, and a honking-big rear spoiler.
We’re expecting to see the same 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 from the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 to find a home here too. That engine puts down 465 horsepower and 465 pounds-feet of torque, all sent to the rear wheels. The 5.7-liter Hemi V-8-powered 300C can already hit 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds, so we expect the bigger engine to make even quicker work of that. In the Dodge, the new 6.4-liter has a top speed of 175 mph top speed.
Make sure to head over to Motor Trend to check out all of the spy shots.
