Chevrolet WTCC Driver Rob Huff Snags First UK-Spec Camaro

Chevrolet WTCC driver Rob Huff is the first owner of a non-gray market Chevrolet Camaro in the UK. Huff chose Inferno Orange with black rally stripes for his muscle car, which was purchased from Cambridge Chevrolet.

“This is a dream come true,” Huff said in a release. “I’ve wanted a Camaro ever since I first saw the concept car four years ago. To finally get behind the wheel of my own car, in my own personalized color scheme, is one of the best days of my life.”

Huff has raced for Chevy in the WTCC for eight seasons.

Earlier this year, GM announced the Camaro would go on sale in the UK — including 45th Anniversary Edition models — in late spring. The Camaro with the 6.2-liter V-8 will also be sold in select markets throughout Europe. All Euro-market Camaros will be left-hand drive.

Customers can choose a six-speed manual or automatic as well as coupe or convertible body styles. All cars will be governed at 155 mph. The Chevy Camaro is available from six UK Chevrolet dealers at this time and starts at £34,995 or about $54,400 for the coupe and £39,995 or about $62,100 for the convertible.

Damn the tail lights on this UK Camaro look hotter than the American one.
