Dog Stuck In Engine Compartment
It’s not uncommon for smaller animals to make homes inside of a dormant car’s airbox or wiring harness, but we’ve never before seen a dog – and a large one, at that – stuck under the hood.; A California man opened the hood of his 1980s Ford F-150 to find a pit bull wedged between the truck’s firewall and the back of the engine block.
There’s no good reason as to how – or why – the dog got under the hood, but it was stuck for some time.; After a fair amount of wiggling and some chewed hose and wire, the dog managed to free himself from the truck.
The dog was then taken by animal control to a nearby shelter, while the owner – with already $1000 invested in repairing the truck – was left to repair the dog’s damage.
