BMW Launches 2012 3 Series Configurator

2012 Bmw 3 Series Sport Line Configurator

BMW is making an extra effort as of late to stay in tune with the latest trends. A couple months ago, it released its “Ultimate Drive” iPhone app, and just last week BMW unveiled the 2012 3 Series on Facebook. Part of staying up-to-date with an increasingly web-based world for an automaker is having an online car configurator. Quickly following the car’s reveal, BMW has just launched the configurator for its 2012 3 Series on its global website.

BMW’s new 3 Series configurator isn’t anywhere near as detailed as what you’ll find on BMW North America’s site. Rather, the global configurator just gives us a sneak peak at the different colors, trim levels, and wheel options that’ll be available on the 2012 3er when it hits dealers next summer. Some things we can expect are a Sport Line, a Modern Line, a Luxury Line, and our personal favorite (at least until the M3 arrives) the M Sport package.

BMW’s global configurator doesn’t include prices, but we’re expecting it to not cost much more than the current 3 Series, which starts at $35,475 in the U.S. You can check out the global 3 Series configurator here.
