Bentley Motors announced that pricing for its all-new 2010 Mulsanne will start around $285,000, placing it atop the entire Bentley range.
Pricing may soar above the $300,000 mark when gas-guzzler and other fees are all tallied up, and in Bentley tradition, we’re sure customers will be able to load all kinds of expensive options.
The company is pleased with the initial reaction the Mulsanne is receiving, and says there’s a possibility that demand may outweigh the first year’s production run. Thus far, Bentley has given more than 1000 potential customers private previews of the Mulsanne at its factory in Crewe, England.
The Mulsanne replaces the aged Arnage sedan, which had been on the market since 1998. Handcrafted at a new facility on the grounds at Crewe, the 2010 Mulsanne will begin rolling off the assembly line next summer, and will ultimately arrive in the U.S. come summer 2010.
