2010 Nissan GT-R
MSRP Range
$80,790.00 - $83,040.00
For starters, Nissan has refined the car’s suspension in an effort to improve ride quality and steering feedback. Engineers have revamped the front dampers and springs, and added stiffer radius rod bushings out back. Nissan’s also added rear diffusers with cooling ducts -- previously an exclusive to the GT-R Spec V -- across the board, along with improved exhaust catalysts that reportedly improve low- and mid-range response.
Inside, the GT-R receives an updated navigation system and a standard USB audio input capable of controlling an iPod. Although an iPod interface is presently an option on the U.S.-spec car, a standard USB interface would be a fine (and versatile) replacement for the Compact Flash card slot that is currently part of the audio system.
Although the hardcore Spec V model remains forbidden fruit to North American enthusiasts, it also receives some mild suspension tuning. Dunlop tires are now standard equipment, but Spec V buyers can still opt for Bridgestone rubber, if so desired.
