Considering an XFR or XKR but you're just the slightest bit overwhelmed by the power output? Jaguar has announced a driving academy that is free of charge for purchasers of the 2010 R models.

Driving techniques will be the main focus of the events. Acceleration, braking, emergency lane changes, and cornering will all be touched on. At the end of the day an autocross track will test the driver's new skills. The owners may also circle the full road course at speed with a professional driver in tow. The best part is that all driving takes place in Jaguar-owned cars.

With this offer, Jaguar proves that personalized car buying is not just for the megarich. The school will tour the country beginning December 1 at Homestead Miami Speedway. The tour will make stops at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Monticello Motor Club in New York, and Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California. Other unnamed venues are being considered.

Jaguar XFR and XKR models are powered by the same 510-hp supercharged V-8 motor. They start at $80,000 and $96,000 respectively, including $850 in destination charges. All 2010 R model Jaguars owners are eligible for this complementary track experience.
