The application, named MBF Account, is available free from the iTunes store. For an owner to utilize the application they must own or lease a Mercedes and be registered on the Mercedes financial website. The included features are bill payment, detailed payoff amounts, and a dealer locator. The service is available for iPhone and iPod touch owners.
Mercedes may be the first to offer this convenience, but we suspect that other major automakers will have similar offerings in the near future.
