Transformers Edition 2010 Chevrolet Camaro Unveiled At Comic-Con

Shia LeBeouf, your ride is ready. Playing off the product placement of its revived Camaro in the Transformers motion picture franchise, Chevrolet unveiled a new special edition Transformers package at the San Diego Comic-Con.

Designed to emulate the “Bumblebee” character from the films, the Transformers package is available only with Rally Yellow paint and black rally stripes. Special touches include Autobot emblems on the front fenders, wheel caps, center console, and “TRANSFORMERS” logos placed on the door sill plates, and hood stripes.

The package, which runs $995, is available on any LT (V-6) or SS (V-8) Camaro, provided one opts for the Rally Yellow hue.

1. GM taking product placement a little too far. Most adults read the reviews before they buy and do not buy because because a movie is cool. Here is the video review of the Camaro: http://tinyurl.com/lm89lk

2. Then again, some have ordered their cars to look like Bumblebee to begin with.

Also, keep in mind baby boomers aren't the only demographic interested in this car...
