Based on the already potent Murciélago, the Reventon, unveiled at the 2007 Frankfurt show, received a carbon-fiber body patterned after the F-22 fighter jet, a $1.5 million price tag, and a very limited production run (no more than 21 were to be built). Now, it seems Lamborghini plans on offering the same, but without a fixed roof.
We’re waiting to receive the full press kit from Sant'Agata Bolognese, but we imagine the new roadster receives the same 640 hp, 6.5-liter V-12 as its coupe sibling. Pricing is rumored to be about $1.6 million, and fewer than 20 may be built.
