We hope the folks at Lexus have a plumber on speed dial, as it seems their photography department has sprung a rather sizable leak. More photos of the new LF-Ch concept have found their way online well in advance of the car’s debut at the 2009 Frankfurt motor show.
The photos -- which closely resemble official studio photography -- show the hybrid compact in all its glory. We like the aggressive front fascia, which resembles the taut IS, but the remainder of the car seems very muscular. Lexus may want the eventual production version to tangle with the BMW 1-series, but from a styling perspective, it’s hard not to compare this to the new Volkswagen Scirocco.
Inside, designers seem to have kept it simple. The dashboard features some dramatic lines (we’re reminded of the IP in the latest iteration of the RX crossover), but controls are kept to a bare minimum. It seems as if designers have fitted the LF-Ch with the company’s latest mouse-style multimedia controller.
We’ll know more for certain when Lexus officially unwraps the car on September 15, but if you’re dying to see more of these low-resolution images in the mean time, check out the gallery here.
