Ford has released pricing on its refreshed 2010 Lincoln MKZ, and the baby bow-grille will start at a base price of $34,965, including destination and delivery charges.
Included in that price is a 3.5-liter Duratec V-6, a six-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, 17-inch aluminum wheels, heated and cooled front row seats, and a premium sound system including eleven speakers and a six-disc CD player. Opting for all-wheel drive adds $1890.
Ford is pitching its midsized luxury sedan offering as a competitor to the Cadillac CTS and Lexus ES350, both of which are bigger cars than the MKZ. The MKZ offers an all-new Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with Cross Traffic Alert (CTA), a feature not available on the Cadillac or Lexus, according to Ford. The ES350 starts at just over $35,000 with destination charges, and the Cadillac starts at about $37,000 with destination charges.
Ford is also offering a new Sport Appearance Package for the MKZ. The package includes stiffer suspension tuning, larger stabilizer bars, 18-inch Euroflange polished wheels, a unique grill, body color door handles, darkened headlamps, and a few interior alterations.
