Slowing sales has prompted Bentley to temporarily cut back on manufacturing operations at its plant in Crewe, England. The company will halt production of the Continental lineup for seven weeks and the Arnage flagship for six weeks.

The Volkswagen-owned luxury carmaker experienced a 24 percent decline in sales over the last year. In October, it was forced to lay off as many as 300 workers due to the drop in demand. This latest standstill will affect more than 3500 workers at the plant. Bentley will also extend its summer break by giving employees three weeks off instead of two.

Bentley expects the stoppage in Crewe to begin in March, with work crews returning sometime in April.
