The 2014 Nissan 370Z was already one of the better performance buys on the market, but for 2014 it’s even more of a value proposition with a $3130 price cut for the 370Z coupe.
The 2014 Nissan 370Z coupe now starts at $30,780, including destination, with the six-speed manual transmission. The Touring trim level, which adds features like leather seats, a Bose audio system, and Bluetooth, receives a price cut of $2550 to $36,060, with destination. 2014 370Z roadster and Nismo coupe models are offered at the same price as 2013 models, starting at $42,190 and $43,810 with destination, respectively.
Other than the price drop, the 2014 Nissan 370Z coupe and roadster models are unchanged and still offer a 332 hp, 3.7-liter V-6 as standard equipment, paired with either a six-speed manual or an optional seven-speed automatic transmission. Nismo models receive exterior styling updates such as dark gray accents on the front fascia, side sills, spoiler, and side mirrors; a new Alcantara steering wheel; and a red Nismo tachometer. As before, Nismo models get an 18 hp bump for the V-6 along with stiffer suspension tuning, brake upgrades, and larger wheels.
Nissan has been dropping prices on many of its core models lately, such as the 2013 Altima midsize sedan, and the strategy seems to be working considering the automaker’s recent sales success. Although the 2014 Nissan 370Z is a niche model making up a small percentage of the brand’s sales, this price change could help it better compete with lower-priced rivals like the Ford Mustang, Chevrolet Camaro, and Hyundai Genesis Coupe.
