An anonymous source passed us the official U.S. dealer order guide today, and we’ve been parsing it ever since. The document reveals some options that we expected, such as the $12,000 AMG Carbon Ceramic Braking System, numerous carbon fiber trim pieces, and the $6400 Bang & Olufsen Sound System.

However, the most stunning option is likely the $10,000 “ALU-BEAM” paint finish meant to imitate liquid metal. Of course, there are numerous other, less expensive paint options available.

Mercedes will also allow you to add as much carbon fiber as your heart desires–but for a mighty cost. Opting for carbon fiber trim inside adds $4500, and if you’d like the material on the seat trim and sill plates, that costs an extra $4500. A carbon fiber engine cover costs $5400, while carbon fiber rear-view mirror caps run $5000. If you spring for all those options alone, you’re out almost $20,000.

In addition to displaying the prices and options, the ordering guide gives a good look at the interior of the car in many different colors and trims. Having recently driven the car, we can report that it is dynamite.

The SLS AMG will officially be revealed at the Frankfurt motor show this September. Mercedes is still mum on a base price, but it’s estimated to be around $200,000.

Once you’ve gone over the $100,000 mark, what’s another $20k in options? :)
